THINKING

One day the world will see everything their eyes failed to reveal to them and by that time it might just be too late. While others, who have it all figured out, will realize they figured out nothing because it was always there. Then most, who have the answer, will keep it to themselves and will never try to shed some light on others who are spiraling downward. And then, the very few, like myself & u, will spend all our lives trying to impart in others the things that we were Blessed to obtain throughout our journeys in life, & 10% of them will grasp it and appreciate u for Life, while the other 90% will never Listen. Carried the weight
Anticipated the load

Prepared for whatever
Took a stand
Took a step
Reached out a little more than most would me
Forgot about the present
Ignored the past
Lived in tomorrow
Found the importance of a day
Shared moments, visions, & embarrassments
Followed the wrong paths
Came to dead ends
Turned back around
Bumped my head
Conscious of my mishaps
Disturbed my energy far too many times
Lived in rewind
Sped up
Corrected the errors
Made more mistakes
Traveled to find emptiness
Embraced the hollowness
Filled my soul with hope
Poured faith into my heart
Deserted my loved ones
Befriended my enemies
Learned valuable lessons
Gained an immense amount of knowledge
Pulled myself away from negativity
Broke free of the circles
Ended relationships
Spent a lot of time alone
Reconnected with God
Found reasoning and purpose
Battled my demons...and my Saints
fought my inner-critic
Gave a care when I shouldn't have
Muted my spirit
Exposed my flesh...and my weaknesses
Lied about my truths
And told the truth about my lies
I've cheated, mistreated, deceived, manipulated, and I've painted falsities of myself to hide my pain
I've hid my pride, my love, my intelligence, my sense of self, my beauty, my emotions
To keep from getting hurt
Learned how to be "Real" by owning up to my faults
Apologized to those whom I've hurt
Cried a lot of tears in the darkness
And smiled a lot smiles in the Light
Took responsibility for every action
And endured all of my consequences
Found peace through the toughest of times
And love from the least expected
Stood at standstills
And have turned the tables
I've been knocked down too many times
But have gotten up twice as many
Survived the wounds and weathered the storms
Gained the respect of those who've never known "Me"
And gave my purity to them who've always been around
Confided in my confidence
Reasoned with my sanity
Worked on my flaws
Changed my course
Strived to be better
And prayed for forgiveness
I am not my failures.........
I am my success!!!!!

THE NIGHT

Something about The Night I can't quite put my finger on. So still and calming, yet filled with rage and secrets. Violence storms its atmosphere and tears fill the sky with sorrow in the morning. Thinking about and analyzing all the actions that took place before its arrival. Restless because that's where your connection lies. There you can be as creative as you wanna be without distractions or interruptions. FREE of social agony and fake smiles. FREE of the constant reminder that you are in the crossfire of jealousy and envy. Sometimes I watch the clock wishing i could somehow make it go faster just so I can see the daylight dim...but that is inevitable...sadly. So I wait. And I wait. I wait for all the noise to die down. I wait for all the cars to stop honking their horns. I wait until everyone is sound asleep...AND......I.....Put On my headphones, Take out my pen & pad, Turn on the Musik...and completely zone out to what I believe is the perfect moment.......AND I WRITE.

THE BLACK MAMBA!!!

KOBE

 (THE BLACK MAMBA) BRYANT IS THE BEST BASKETBALL PLAYER IN THE NBA!!!! Yeah I said it!!! He is the definition of a COMPLETE-ALL AROUND-BALL PLAYER. He is a SCORING SENSATION and his defense is tight too. Man KOBE plays with Finesse and he goes hard every single game. In my opinion No One can guard him and No One can stop him on that court!!! I have debates about the MAMBA all the time and when I bring out the stats it usually silences the ones who doubt him…lol…I mean How could you not give this man his props? He already has 5 Championship rings & he’s working on #6. And I wish everyone would stop comparing him to Lebron James!!! You can’t compare the two!!! No disrespect to Lebron, he’s good, but not good enough when it comes to KOBE. Both are exciting to watch, but watching KOBE is like watching “POETRY IN MOTION”. He makes tough shot after tough shot, attacks the basket with force, locks his opponents down on Defense (which is why he continues to make the “ALL DEFENSIVE TEAM” EVERY year), and his basketball I.Q. is off the charts. There is SOOOOOOO MUCH More that I can say about this man, but I’ll just let you see for yourself.   #BOOM

FRANK OCEAN

FRANKY BABY!!!!! Wussup Readers? Today I’m gonna go with my boy Frank Ocean ‘YEAH’ (in my Trey Songz voice…lol). I’m a fan of Frank’s music simply because he stays in his own lane & he has his own style. I can only inspire other artists to find their own groove so that they can stand out & I can only aspire to do the same. Now-a-days a lot of the new music all sounds the same and people get so caught up in the majority of what everyone else likes, that they miss the REAL music in Creative Artistry.  I mean the guy is “Extraordinary” and “Different” as opposed to what the industry has to offer today. His vocals are AMAZING & his writing skills are OFF THE CHAIN, equipping him with the total package. I can appreciate music like this because when I listen to it I’m pulled right into his world of creativity, a world that many will label “WEIRD”, but I think he’s a Genius, besides, what is “Normal” anyway?  I’ve been listening to his mix tape “Nostalgia/ULTRA” for the last 3 days and overall I rate it 4 stars out of 5. I mean he could do without the profanity on a few songs, but for the most part he’s a TRUE artist. Although I like all the songs on his mix tape, I do have a few favorites that I recommend to everyone. Songs like “Swim Good”,  “We All Try”, “There Will Be Tears”, & “American Wedding” are a few to name. This man definitely has a gift and the scary thing is he’s only going to get better.  In my opinion, I think he’s in the TOP  5 of BEST R & B male artists of 2011. He has to be DOPE if he featured on Jay-Z & Kanye’s “Watch The Throne” album!!! If you don’t believe me, hear him for yourself on YouTube or Google him!  And if you don’t think so…Let it be known. #BOOM!!!
